I would think that Hull might be in a financial spot of bother if they fail to get promotion, or rather they would be if FFP actually existed.
Based on what? Your years of accounting experience? Or because they don't follow the Sunderland model so therefore they must be unsustainable? In fact, a lot of their "star" players are loans. The only spot of bother they are in is that these players will return to their parent clubs.

They appeared to push the boat out in the last two windows, some loans and some perms. Are you one of these people who think loans don't cost anything ?

Loans are manageable compared to high transfer fees. Besides they sold Bowen and Lewis Potter recently for good money and they can offset any issues by selling Philogene and Greaves both of whom would command a good transfer fee.

Are Burstow and Styles not costing us?

Did Amad, Gelhardt, Simms not?

Have the large amount of kids and players we have signed who are not playing or involved not costing us?

Too many people have lost sight of the benefit of actually getting something out of footballers on the pitch.
