All teams end up with expensive flops these days. Such is the pressure for instant success or avoiding failure that teams splash out lots of money on unproven players. Plus so many more from leagues that are different than the English ones. Once you could study a player who was playng in the same type of games up against similar opposition and take your time before offerering to buy. Now agents flog barely known fuckers to everyone. If you snooze you might lose.
