Keyhole or Open? - I’m hoping for the former although mine seems quite big

It's keyhole nowadays, about a 1cm incision. Not like our appendix scars that look like they were done with a bayonet.

How long was the operation and how long were you in hospital for? What is the recovery period?

I think the operation ended up being about 3 hours and I had a one night stay in hospital. I've got six weeks before I can lift anything remotely heavy.
I was totally out of shape having not been able to do anything for 8 months prior so realistically i'll have to ease myself back into anything.
