India struggling with the tail again. Nos 8-11 scored nearly 200 runs. When things aren't going their way they hoy the towel in very easily...

Ya put the kybosh on that!!
There bowling is utter shite yet somehow we capitulated when Ishant sharma was bowling 80mph bouncers at lords. Which are harmless compared to what the convicts can do

Indias batting is obviously decent but can't bat in our conditions so we were able to stuff em in the end.

smith and warner are high class players like, and all the bowlers bat

Shocking crowd. Depressing to see, I love Test cricket so much would hate to see it go because of money.

Poor by India that. Could and should have won this if they'd tidied up the Australian tail in the first innings.

Johnson and Starc are decent with the bat but the lad on debut averages 9 in first class cricket but they still allowed him to hit 32 not out. Lyon is a bunny and all and got well into double figures.

This is the team that allowed Jimmy to score 80+, Dhoni is as clueless as Cook when it comes to tidying up a tail.

To totally dominate day one like that and go on to lose in four days shows ineptitude England could be proud of.

this is the difference in the last 18 months or so for the aussies. the ability to double their first innings score from 5 down. they did it in the ashes debacle and are still at it

will probably be the difference come the summer, how we bat from 5 down

India are a very poor test cricket side like.

South Africa, New Zealand and Australia are the best 3 sides for me

Pakistan are an enigma, not sure how well they would tour

They know how to win when it matters mate. That quality is so important and should not be underestimated.

Agree with that assessment. But for some bizarre reason the ICC seem to think we're third.

India lost this match as much as Australia won it. Eg Allowing the Aussie first innings tail to score 200, collapsing from 71/1 to 224 all out, the Kohli/Dhawan debacle. How many times have India been in the box seat under Dhoni and totally blown it because there was no game plan to take the game to the opposition? I bet Chef couldn't believe his luck last summer when this lot totally imploded in the last three tests!

So, you're in agreement with my statement basically. India don't know how to win. And when that is the difference between two team, teams like Australia leave the victors.

What did kohli and dawan do?

What did kohli and dawan do?

Dahwan was unfit to bat at the start of day four after being hit on the hand the practice session. Dhoni was informed but did nothing about it till 5 minutes before start of play, when he tells Kohli to pad up. Kohli, ironically, had been hit on the forearm in the practice session and wasnt keen to go straight in either. He lasts ten balls before being bowled by Johnson. This precipitates a collapse and Dahwan is at the crease by 11.45am anyway. Shambolic.
