Last week against Stoke we had thousands leaving in droves well before the end.Not having a go just wondering
Any reason why most Newcastle seemed to stay until the end?

Cos they're the best fans the world has ever seen. Funny though, I must have imagined Alan Green mentioning them leaving about 10 mins before the end.

They were getting spanked, though. You can't really blame any club's fans for leaving early when the game is clearly lost. I've done it myself.
But I do find it odd how so many of our fans seem to leave early when we're winning or still in the game.

Well when I go il fuck off when I want. Most of the time Saturdays are the only time I get to do sumat with the Mrs n the bairn so the difference of leaving in stoppage time as opposed to 2 minutes after final whistle can mean an hours difference to me trip. So maybe a lot of people feel the same. Newcastle is different train station to wherever the metro n a decent bus service it's a lot easier to get away from. N the scums just the best fans ever

Think it helps having relatively recent memories of success...challenging for the title and CL glory games. There's no such legacy at the SoL. The 19/15 pointers have no special place in our memories. Sadly.
