Might have been something to do with the fact he knew he was getting the sack. It was all over the press and they did nothing to quell the rumours. I’m not a Bruce fan, he isn’t very smart and a bit lazy minded, but they should have been straight with him from the off and terminated his contract. Instead he was hanging around waiting for the sack while they were obviously trying to get somebody else. He knew it and the fans knew it
 
Just feel like the whole deal was set up for the Saudi’s to takeover a Premier League club, to get one foot in the door so they can get the World Cup. Now they’ve secured that, they’ll sell the club to the Reuben Brothers for a cut price and she was the mediator for the whole thing, with her retaining some sort of control. I can’t see the Saudi’s being interested in investing any more than they have to, especially in a club that’s hamstrung by FFP and its regulations.
