OK.....Been bugging me for years now but never enough to post in here.
I'm thinking it was 1987-1989, female lead vocals from a rock/pop type band (similar to Transmission Vamp but not them as far as i'm aware) and the lyrics that stand out are 'when it's good it's wicked at the centre'.
