Just turned 18 anarl. I don't know if he'll ever be top quality, but for a team like ours he's a nice option to have. High determination is always a nice bonus to have on the young'uns, if they get regular game time their attributes just go through the roof.
Looks decent him mind for that league. Im going to move to the Icelandic league, see what the craic is over there.

Pisses me off so much this game. I'm not even doing that badly. Just sick of hitting the post multiple times every game and conceding own goals from crosses.

My last two games I've lost 1-0 & 2-0 and the opposition have only had one shot on target in both of those games combined.

Meanwhile I've had 11 shots on target and hit the post a combined 8 times. Turned it off at that point.

Is there a lack of penalties on anyone else's game? In a season and a half with Hartlepool I've won one and given away four, three out of the four have been saved as well

I've only had him for part of my current season - he has been brilliant so far and is one of my best performers and I'm top of the league with Sunderland.

If one day he has to go - I won't be selling him to a league rival.

When you renegotiate his contract put an extortionate minimum fee to domestic clubs (circa £200m) meaning you will have a comeback if he starts twisting about rejecting bids

Just bought this for £17 on steam

Going to start a game as sunderland, any recommended signings to get the ball rolling

Kevin Prince Boateng
Lucas Evangilista (loan)
Ricky Alvarez
Dan Burn

If the player insists on a minimum fee release clause I just offer them another contract after a few months with it removed. I don't look to insert one myself.

If a player is unhappy for whatever reason I will be diplomatic then if required state that they are paid to play football so just get on with it.

I think if the team is doing well in the game then their attitude/morale can be managed relatively easily.

Been a while since I've been able to complete another season on this, still with Fredrikstad in the Norwegian PL and of course we're still winning titles. In our third time of asking though, we finally didn't finish bottom of a Champions League group - a third place finish ahead of Ajax means we've qualified for the Europa League and have a very favourable tie against Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the first knock out stage. It's a struggle at times keeping hold of our best players as they're all wanted by some fairly big clubs around Europe; for example our 18 year old centre midfielder brought through the academy has had bids put in by Man City, Barca, Chelsea and Real Madrid - and that's just the start of it. Problem we have is we just can't accept any offers that come in because due to the league's reputation I'd be selling for way less than they're actually worth and it would be nigh on impossible to find suitable replacements for a similar price.

The biggest challenge now with this save is getting the league's reputation up to a stage where it gets to a similar level to those outside the big 5. I think it's up to about 19th in rep now, up around 6 or 7 places from when we first won the league, and I always make sure when I'm selling players to sell to clubs in the same division. We've just sold a lad to Odd for 750k who was no more than a squad player for us, but is still one of the best players in the division outside of our squad - hopefully raising the competitiveness and overall quality of the league will mean those clubs do better in Europe, pushing along the league's reputation even faster.

What I'm doing at Boca when the big European clubs come for one of my players is inserting a clause to receive 50% of the profit from the sale of that player. Might not be the greatest fee in the world now, but when Barcelona sell him on for £30m you're gonna be loaded.

Mad how a simple tactical tweak can yield immediate results. With Peterhead we were conceding a shit tonne of goals, especially from crosses into the box so I changed both my fullbacks from complete wing backs to just wing backs and all of a sudden we are swatting teams away. Joint top of the league!

Wahey, a big summer for Norwegian football as the league moves up 6 places in the league ranking to 13th and with that means from next season the team who wins the league (ie us) will qualify automatically for the Champions League group stages, and on top of that we now have a team go automatically into the Europa League so more money all round. On top of that we've moved into the top 50 ranked clubs in Europe, so we're now officially bigger than the likes of PSV and Villarreal; and the most improved club in Europe came from Norway, with Lillestrom climbing from 277 to 175 in the club rankings.

Oh yeah, and the league table looks like this after 12 games

Got Parma back to Serie A. Huge leap in class between the two leagues. Struggled to start with, but plodding along nicely now. Predicted 17th but looking at finishing around mid-table. 4th season in and a fancy a change.

Applied for a few jobs including Lazio, but reputation isn't quite there.

Fuck this game sometimes man. Our new wanker of a chairman accepted a bid of £1.5m from Celtic for our left back (who goes there and is instantly worth £3m). This is three days after our transfer window has closed and a day after our other left back was ruled out for three months with a torn hamstring

Enjoy reading your save but surely you must be facing the same problem I had at Dundalk and find the club really limited as the only source of income is only from the CL group stage entry?

On a holiday from the game atm with other games out but I'm yet to see a San Marino FC save in Serie D.
Someone's gotta be insane enough to do it, don't make it be me

Aye we seem to be going through the same thing of qualifying for the CL, finishing 3rd or 4th and then the rest of the season is spent just winning the league. The biggest problem for us at the minute is that we just can't offer decent wages to anyone, so I'm relying on picking up young players from less reputable leagues and building them up from there. Doesn't f***ing help the chairman wants to sell every player I've got.

A truly remarkable end to the 2016/17 campaign after a fantastic season came down to the wire. Sky would have absolutely loved it had this been a reality. At the top of the league Arsenal and Chelsea were locked on 80 points with Chelsea ahead by 1 goal. Man city were in 3rd on 78 points with the same goal difference as Arsenal. The race for Europa league saw Tottenham in 6th on 59 points, Stoke in 7th on 57 points and a +5 GD with us in 8th also on 57 points but a dismal GD of 0. Down at the bottom Southampton were 17th on 35 points and a -23 GD with Leicester in 18th on 32 points but a healthier GD of -13

The key final day fixtures were;

Arsenal v Chelsea
Leicester v man city
Hull v Sunderland
Newcastle v Stoke
West brom v Tottenham
Swansea v Southampton

So I needed favours off of the mags and already relegated west brom (they had 32 points as well but an insurmountable GD of -35) in order to get into the Europa league. I kept my part of the bargain with a 2-1 success over Bruce's Hull and the mags helped me out too by drawing 1-1 with Stoke. However Spurs held their nerve and won at the Hawthorns leaving me in 7th and missing out on Europe by a point to Liverpool who slipped to 6th on the final day.

At the bottom Swansea beat Southampton 2-0 meaning a Leicester victory over title chasing city would keep them up. City went 2-0 up sending them top on GD as Arsenal and Chelsea was 0-0 then the 85th minute came. Leicester, who had pulled a goal back earlier, equalised to make it 2-2 and drop city back into 3rd and Olivier Giroud broke the deadlock at the Emirates to leapfrog Chelsea and claim Arsenal their first title in 13 years! Leicester couldn't find their savour goal and went down with a 2-2 draw. Incredible turn of events.

So a fantastic season for us landing 7th with 60 points. My home form was fantastic and to my surprise when Chelsea won the FA cup it was announced I was in the Europa league qualifying stages due to them winning that and Man U winning the capital one cup so I'd snook in the back door. Over the moon as I never thought I'd manage it.

So into the new season I've been drawn away to Jaro of Finland in the qualifiers. Need a bigger squad as I'm quite thin now and simply must improve my away form this season. If I could have had half as good away form as my home form last year id have got into the champions league. I've signed Begovic for £5m to come and by my number 1 with Pickford as backup. Anthony martial has come in on loan for on 20% wages which is a huge coup. I'm desperate for a first choice centre half following O'Shea's retirement, Kabouls lack of fitness and the sale of Coates and Vergini. Im chasing Jason Denayer who is currently at Juventus but having difficulty trying to persuade him to come. I could do with a full back or two for competition with Pva and Jenkinson (who was phenomenal last season with 16 assists and an average rating of 8.3!). Elsewhere I need a starting CM with De Guzman going back to Napoli. I'm chasing Kondogbia but again struggling to sell the club. I'm hoping that progression into the group stage of the Europa league will convince them. Then it's just a case of improving the quality throughout the squad.
