Where's the Labour Right's opposition to Corbyn?

Barely a peep from Kendall, Burnam or Cooper, which shows the quality of opposition to the government we'd have got, had any of these deaf f***ing mutes been elected Leader.
All dead in the water. They've shot their bolt.

Of the three, only Cooper was worth a light, and had she broken ranks and done more in the election she could have been a unifying force in the party.

Chuka Umunna's withdrawal may have been a strategic one, keeping his powder dry. Even so, his courage and integrity is suspect.

The rest are interchangeable, as bland and content-free as the grey suits they wear.

Let's not forget that most of the IRA's funding used to murder our citizens was provided through US "charitable" organisations. This was before they decided that terrorism was a bad thing i.e. before it affected them. Also I can't see how any charity trying to help Palestinians can help acting in risky parts of the world? I am beginning to sound like a Corbyn supporter which I am not but I do agree with many of the things he has said about poverty and social justice and even on bombing ISIS. Can't help feeling that the left and right of the Labour Party should accept that they all have principles and consciences and that there are many things they have in common and start working together on those. The left wing does not have a monopoly on idealism and a measure of pragmatism may dilute their "purity" but if it gets them elected and able to put in place at least some of the measures they'd like to see then compromise is not a dirty word. Plenty of people in the country do want to see a fairer, more equal and generous spirited attitude from government. If the left could be less high minded and the right a bit more idealistic and both start pointing out very loudly that the banking crisis was global not national, that Tories wanted less regulation not more , that our public services, on which we all rely to some extent, are getting so bad in some areas that they threaten the security and future of the country and the many other deficiencies of our current government, while keeping their disagreements in house not on the front pages, we might just have a party worth electing in five years.

typical corbynite, head in the sand denial :oops:

these are not "fill in as you choose surveys" from the website, this is a sampled, scientific poll.

Ive heard he's done a deal with the Chinese. They are going to buy up the country then install him as president. To add insult to injury for lizzy he's moving into Buck house.

What are those figures based on, England, UK as a whole? What were the questions and demographics?

I only ask because they are wildly different to ones you posted two days ago from the same source.

I'd like to be all shocked and scandalised, but I'd expect nothing less from him tbh. For a pacifist he has some queer views on terrorists

In days of yore he would have been dispatched as a traitorous coward and we would never even have heard his name spoken.

I'm nostalgic for those days which appeared to have had many things going for them.

Jezza is an out and out socialist.

He hates western imperialism and has admiration for anyone, he perceives, to be fighting against it. He talks in code to disguise the fact but, like Sturgeon, he regards Britain as a malign power in the world. How anyone who hates what Britain stands for could be Prime Minister of Great Britain is beyond me.

"I am a socialist not a unionist" - Jeremy Corbyn

Living under military dictatorship obviously suits you then.

Censorship, Torture, Imprisonment without trial, Political violence, Kidnapping and disappearances, all is wonderful in Thailand.

Have you applied for citizenship?

That could be said of a fair few countries of the world, including USA,Russia and china, the three most powerful

"Talks in code", Is that the best you can do?

So when Corbyn says "It’s because I am driven by these British majority values, because I love this country, that I want to rid it of injustice, to make it fairer, more decent, more equal.", He really means "I hate the UK"? Laughable.

Your point being?

I would disagree with your inclusion of the USA along side Russia, China and Thailand. The USA has it's faults but it is ludicrous to suggest that it applies anywhere near the level of political violence and censorship on it's own people as Thailand, Russia or China.
