This Mortal Coil - Filigree and Shadow

Not even considered their best album by most, I think it's the greatest album ever

I stayed at the same hotel as him in Mopti, in Mali, back in the 90s. Saw him in the hotel bar, but he was busy chatting up a Dutch bird, and I didn't want to disturb him. He took her back to his room and they didn't come back out for the rest of my two days there.
Must have been teaching her the Harry lime theme.

Good god! someone's covered Strength Of Strings!
will have to listen to that
canny droney in itself - well the original is
Actually that might be him

It's a cracker, but 'My Father' and 'Meniscus' are better

Don't f***ing download individual tracks, the flow of the album is superb

Translussion: The Opening of the Cerebral Gate.

Lesser known but unarguably awesome album from the late great James Stinson and Gerald Donald...

I'm never wrong.

Hats - Blue Nile
Sulk - Associates
Music has a right to children - BOC - not that anything electronic is ever considered in any of these things ever anyway
Entroducing - DJ Shadow

Perfect Prescription - Spacemen 3. Opened the whole noise psychadelia scene in the late 80's early 90's, otherwise known as shoegaze.

Loop were also good but most defintely on Spacemen 3's tail.
