He's an utter divvy but for once you can't really argue with that statement. We all hoped for quality recruits to add some solidity to our first team never mind the squad.

Yes there's still time but none of our signings to date have that reassuring ring of proven premiership quality about them.

Lens looks exciting but can he do it in the top flight over here, Kaboul has injury doubts, Matthews completely unknown and Coates has been hot and cold.

All transfers have an element of gamble about them but I long for the days when we buy proven premiership players in the prime of their careers without a dodgy injury record.
Of course you can disagree with his statement. No one is saying we won't struggle, but seriously the "most likely" and doesn't mention anyone else?

Then you must really fear for the Mags (worst team in 2015 in the league by a distance), Villa and Leicester too then? Which means that you can argue with his statement.

If we lose Johnson and don't sign anyone else then he's probably right. A couple decent signings and Johnson getting cleared and we'll be fine. Leicester are utter shite, villa seem to be wasting the benteke money and never mind the mags who have an awful manager and taken a few gambles on signings.

All have/are signing better players in key areas. Leicester is the one doubt as Ranieri is way past it seemingly. Sherwood is too astute a manager to take Villa down. McClaren is past it too but they seem to have invested in building a good spine to the team.
The exact same was being said about the skunks before last season.

Sorry, I asked you the question before I read you arguing that Sherwood is a better manager than Advocaat on the basis of experience. Not fussed what you say now.

I'm not that interested in who other clubs are signing - I just haven't been inspired by our transfer window thus far. Still hoping for good news yet though.

I can't see anything he's said wrong, not sure why people are getting upset, he's spot on. We are rightly one of the favourites to get relegated, as it stands I'd fancy both Bournemouth and Norwich to finish above us.

The three teams that come and Leicester must be the favourites.

A club like Villa should not be in danger.

At least one of the other bottom 10 club will have a bad start and struggle all season let's just hope it's not us again.

Erm, it's kind of an important factor when assessing who's most likely to go down though which is what you were commenting on.
