:lol: They can't possibly believe by just letting us have free reign over some pubs, the hatred will all a sudden disappear. A hatred that has existed since the Civil War, they're as deluded as the mags.

That's what they said in the meeting :lol: they're either thick as shit and genuinely believe it won't kick off or really clever in knowing what they're doing and I certainly suspect it's the latter. Wouldn't the the first time NP had stitched our fans up at central station

They can fuck right off on derby day. Kicking each others head in is way too far and not needed, but drinking with them!? Fuck that.

Aye that's exactly what I'm doing. If loads pile through just after 9 I'll go with them and even when I'm Im a big group, as hard as it may be Ill be trying my best to keep a low profile and keep me head down. There'll be cameras everywhere and NP will be looking to get there figures up I think. Bastards

Wasn't questioning you mate, just laughing at the idiocy of the police. Yes they have to start somewhere, but IMO hatred cant be just taken away like that. It will get worse or get better with time.

Yeah I'm getting there for 9 and see what happens. If there seems loads I'll do what you're doing, at least then you're in big numbers. Do you reckon there'll be as many going through on the train as there was last year? Must have been between 1,500-2,000 on the train last year? The police had two big escorts. I think I was on the last one.

The civil war thing is a bit crap tbh. The reality is; right the way up to the 1960's people would regularly watch both clubs, and while there was rivalry between the clubs/cities, it was nothing like it is now. In fact, didnt hundreds gather at Sunderland station in the 50's to applaud the Newcastle team home after they won the cup?

The problems we have now are a by-product of the hooligan trouble that started in the mid 60's.
 
Have you seen what those Koontz do to phone boxes, and trained police horses?

I reckon there'll be a few pissed up young uns that will spoil this on both sides.
 
So, without having to read 29 pages, what's the craic?

Are the majority going on a specific metro? Do we have a pub to go into at the other end?
