Yeah I know what you mean. I tend to have a cup of tea and a banana about an hours before I leave work. Tides me over till I get home. Also as said go straight from work. Is going before work an option?

I do that now and much prefer it. Gym is quiter and you have less time to make an excuse to stop yourself going

No chance of me going before work. Up at 7, work by 8.

And by "up at 7" I mean, I leave it until the absolutely last second to get into work about 5 mins late everyday. I hate mornings.

Bairn will change that, no doubt.

I'm back at the gym tonight after a few weeks of inconsistent visits. I'm still at the 15st 0lb mark and hopefully can shift a stone before xmas.

Look at yourself in the mirror while you train you can see the gains it makes you feel good

More just taking a dig at lads that stare at themselves in the mirror bud, granted its a badly informed dig

One tool in my gym does a full catwalk style walk towards the mirror after every set and as he stops does a smile and a wink as if he is looking straight at a camera

One at my gym keeps doing his "swans not talking to each other" pose, silly

I simply cant do gym after work, if I do its only cardio. Pre-workout energy drinks have worked for me for years but looking at them, they have about 280 calories in them. Recently started overdosing on caffeine pills as replacement.

Starting to feel a little better today - hopefully I can have a couple of sessions at the weekend to get back on the whores.

Sorry, horse
Or both.

(what was that back "on the whores" joke off again? Was it BBT?)

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but do you enjoy the training you do?

I dont mind the cross trainer - its better than cycling or running.
I don't mind doing weights either - although its really boring on your own in a gym, so at home is ok (used to go the gym with mates years back, and that was a good laugh tbh - but non of my mates up here go, so....)

Would much prefer to play squash or footy - but knees, back and hip problems prevent. Loved squash, I'd play every night if I could.

Go before getting home.

As soon as i step through the door im doing fuck all til a have to go back to graft.

I'm back into the routine of going, trick was to cut down on junk food, which has meant not being as tired to go to the gym.
