Be up for it too have to be next weeks one though as am out tonight, think there is a weekly nightfall strike as well but it says I dont have good enough gear for that yet 
Hopefully will be geared up by next weekend once the black market guy turns up again will be able to afford some stuff off him and will be geared up from the Future war cult as well. Need a better gun for pvp though.

I accidentally dismantled mine last night cos it was a green had much better impact that the blue one I had.

So is impact the main thing to look for? I just mainly look at how high the damage number is tbh

Played this for the first time properly over the weekend- just playing the early story missions so far. Got to say i'm enjoying it. Super addictive.

My understanding is that in standard pvp the weapons damage stat isn't relevant as that is one of the equalizing factors (same with Armour although you get the perks) and so you should look at impact as higher impact means more damage. Obviously where modifiers are off and when Iron Banner starts then damage will come into it.
Go back when you are level 18+ otherwise is impossible as they one hit kill you.

That cave thing where you get constant level 5 respawns is canny like. Most of the drops are shite but it's weapon parts and essence etc for nowt. Does me head in when some dickhead goes in after every 2 minutes of shooting though.

Must admit I've spent a few hours doing that like, hoping to get a legendary drop, but had fuck all apart from blue drops. Class when the public event starts halfway through it anarl!

Have you been there when about 500 enemies come? They're all level 6 but ridiculous to kill and you get absolutely mauled. It's intense like.

Its always defend the warsat there I think at x30 and x00 where x is the hour. Theres a few different ones round earth so you can do a public event every 15 minutes if you rotate locations.

Iron Banner is multiplayer with the levels, Armour and weapons active at their real rate rather than the level playing field it currently is.

That's when they both push at each other, there's one happens on Venus n'arl. It's hectic as fuck, last time it happened we ended up cowering behind a burnt out bus with another player as shots and grenades literally filled the air around us.
