You won't be disappointed mate, from about 30 mins into it you will be well and truly hooked. I did over 200 hours on it.

Got me into gaming. I used to dick about on my sons xbox, trying to play cod and such like shooters, getting knacked, and only getting so far into games, before I couldn't get past a "Boss" so having to quit.

Then I found Fallout 3, could go where I liked, so if I was stuck on a hard bit, just go and do something else, and of course the awesome V.A.T.S. system.....No more "button mashing" for me :p

Fallout NV and the awesome Skyrim soon followed, and these 3 are the only games I really play now.

Absolute life stealers. ;)

It's in the steam sale for 5.09 until 6pm if anyone's interested (my keyboard has gone weird so it's giving me a hashtag instead of a pound symbol )

Amazing game, same with Fallout 3. Will have put a scary amount of hours into this 360/PC combined.

Bought all the DLC a couple months ago and think they're class as well, level 34 or something at the minute, the amount of stuff left to do is ridiculous as well. Had about 4 or 5 playthroughs on Fallout 3 and you can guarantee you'll find loads of new stuff each time. Always thought 3 was the better game but I reckon NV is now.

The only games I've enjoyed more is the MGS series.

Ordered the GOTY edition so has all the DLC, should have later this week, also ordered tomb raider GOTY anarl, just over £9 for that.

New Vegas had some really good DLC I thought

the casino one was shite but the Big MT, lonesome road and honest herats was really good

the guns were better as well...the modded hunting rifle was a beauty

I picked up the GOTY edition for my ps3 for just a few quid and it was superb value...same as I got the GOTY fallout 3 for my 360 for about a tenner and that included the massive guide book as well!

played through both many times..must have many hundreds of hours game time for the cost of a few pints

When you buy a goty edition, does it have the dlc preloaded or do you have to download it manually?

its all on the disc with the game of the year editions

some good new weapons DLC's the gun runners arsenal adds loads...the m1 garand battle rifle is always a favourite. Still love using the ratslayer though...night sights and silenced

I enjoyed the Casino one like. Annoying as fuck though when you're actually in the Casino near the end and you have to destroy the radios before they set your collar off, I was absolutely awful at finding them. Went through absolutely loads of stimpaks in that DLC.

Thought the Lonesome Road was pretty boring (If it's the right one I'm thinking about) and thought it was a bit short. Amazing game though, this thread makes me want to go back and continue again.
