I'll leave that to the puffed up toads wittering on about how significant this is. I have far more important matters to attend to.
Classic lefty, thinks he's above the hoi polloi. The British people who have voted for this are beneath you eh.

ukip are by and large mental

but why are they popular ? not cos people are simply 'thick' and 'racist'

Because people are sick of the stupid mental twats who have run this country for years.

However, I expect come next May, ukip will gain the square root of fuck all, but will fuck up the votes of the others enough that they may just have to start listening to us.

Oh that and lib dem get fucked over for selling their soul.

The irony of all this is that UKip constantly go on about wasting money in the EU. Lets see how often they turn up to work to earn their salary and expenses.

This irony of course is probably also lost on Ukip voters....

They could turn up and claim their daily allowance of £200, but many of them choose not to waste their time sitting on pointless councils and instead work in their constituency back home.

Irony? Sounds more than reasonable to me.

It wonT happen but if ukip win the national vote then there should be a vote on Europe before may.

It,won't happen as the ruling 3 parties are shit scared we the public wound't vote how they want us too.

Because they jumped on the let's get out of Europe train at the point the "thick" or "racist" people started to realise the BNP were f***ing awful. Mix in a recession and voter apathy against the big three and they have gained real traction.

I judge ukip based on their policies rather than the media, I find their policies to be wafer thin and sometimes worrying. I can understand why some people in the know would latch onto them.

Has your lass hacked your account as you never make this much sense at work.

I understand why you say that, but my question is about free trade. There are pros and cons to free trade, I'd like to know what exactly people who oppose the EU are opposing. I suspect it's not the free trade bit but the free movement of people and the centralisation of power, but I'd like to hear their views.

Free trade was established by the EEC and free market. The EU is what people oppose. I dont think even the most extreme want to isolate ourselves in terms of trade. Which is frankly irrelavant anyway in the digital age as it would be effectively impossible.

Problem with people from this neck of the woods is:-

a. They would never vote Tory (on principle, not that I disagree with it)
b. They've voted Labour all their life and always will do regardless of their policies

Problem is Labour aren't the same party they were 30 years ago. Hard to tell the 3 parties from each other these days.
Certainly the policies they implement and the general disregard they hold for the public to make decisions for themselves are plain to see.
Is the UK better off in the last 30 years? No, unemployment is still high (especially among the young), NHS is falling to bits, we are in trilions of debt, there is a housing bubble, desolate shopping centres, lack of housing etc etc

People on here having a go at others for championing UKIP because they want change. Something has to change, it's not exactly great guns at the moment is it..

as opposed to the 'lets all self loathe and brand ukip supporters right wing nazis' bandwagon that has been a hallmark of celebrities and 'right on' twitter types for weeks

i agree ukip are not a party i would want in charge but i really dislike the attitude towards them

same as this 'cool and educated' london vote

suggesting the rest of the country are thick, and forgetting the high immigration in london
