How do you get to the Stadium of Light? Very easy, from the South, taking the A1(M) turn off at the A690 and head towards Sunderland until you reach the A19.
Head up the A19 towards the Sunderland (North) signs and turn off towards the big brown road signs that say Stadium of Light.
At this point you will see many cars decked out in our famous colours all heading in one direction.
You will be on a dual carriageway called Wessington Way.
Follow the signs for either the Stadium itself or the “Park & Ride” scheme and after a few roundabouts along this dual carriageway you’ll be able to see the Stadium in the distance.
If you are travelling from the North, you are obviously a Newcastle fan and you won’t be welcome!
