Z Z Top

Coolest band I've ever seen. The way they moved was just class.

Hitchhiked to That London as a youth to see them. Half full Hammersmith Odeon. Great days.

Class band, superb live.
I may be going against the grain here, but I thought their 80's stuff, which gave them their biggest hits, was actually their worst era. Not that is was shite mind, it just seemed more "commercial" than what they normally do.

Proper guitar players kna he's proper class.

It's difficult to say whether their mid-80s programmed output has tarnished their legacy as a blues rock power trio or not, as it provided the band with their biggest hits and given them a career for the past 30 years (though I've no doubt without it there'd still be tres hombres drinking beer and raising hell somewhere). Wouldn't mind seeing them given the chance.

But anyway...

My pause button broke at 1m 40s.

In a weird way, the way they streamlined and marketed themselves was almost like Kraftwerk in the way it was so minimal and with no fat on it. Rarely had a band got its 360 branding so perfect.
