Yes, it seems so, still reading it. Nemo recommended it to me. I wish I had read it ages ago, it suited perfectly that list of 100 books to read before you are 21, and it wasn't included as far as I know.

I'm sure it is one Eloise and Helena-Rose, when she is here, will read in time. Sam, who is snoring on my lap, suggests I stick with The Racing Post

Is Sam the dog? horse? cat? racing pidgeon? Does Sam like racing, Did Sam get a fly/walk/run today? Is he due another? Can he read? Is Sam a boy Sam or a girl Sam? Who chose his/her name? I like the name Sam. Do you? Would you like another pet? Or isn't Sam the pet? Is Sam your wife? ................

Just fancied being a bit stereotypical. :p

:lol:He's a Westie, and a tempromental thoroughbred. His walk today was strange as it included Eloise take her bike to the park. It was slow as she is learning to pedal. Tomorrow is about visiting a farm where she can choose her two bunnies. One will be called EB after the film today.

Cheers, pet

i asked my wife if she fancied changing positions one night , she said ok you do the ironing and i'll lie on the couch and fart

Friend of mine moved house a few weeks back and I see him every Sat/Sunday in the club.

Every time I've seen him since he moved, our lass asks me "Is he enjoying his new house?"

Once, is good. Twice, is repetitive. Every time? How the hell would I know, we don't talk about it. He's moved weeks ago, end of story!!

Women don't seem to understand that men don't ask the petty questions that they do, just to keep a chat going.

If none of you like your wifes why did you firstly choose to get married to someone who does your head in and secondly why not leave them?

It's totally the other way around in our house. He always asks me really personal questions about my friends that I'd never dream of asking them. If someone gets a new job I ask what their office is like and where it is, not how much they earn.

I don't actually know what the majority of my friends do for a living, I know the general field, but nothing to do with job titles, expertise, salaries etc etc. I just don't care enough about the specifics, people's jobs are generally really dull.

Mrs Pie finds it absolutely astonishing.

I know the people they work with, who's nice and who's bitchy. I know where they sit and if their boss is nice. Generally no idea what they actually do.
