H v Everton
A v Wolves
H v WH Utd.

Minimum 6pts are required for me to believe we can finish at least 7th.

I think anything less will mean we do not have the killer instinct to go for it like we did v Chelasea atm and will probably miss out (8th-10th).

Even a defeat over those next three games would be a set-back:

  • Lose to Everton, Chelsea win all but forgotten
  • Lose to Wolves, still struggling away from home, Chelsea was a fluke
  • Lose to WH Utd.

The thing is it COULD have happened. None of those 5 games would have been unfair if we had come away with a victory.

Anar marra - brill innit?! :-D

Psychologically we might be in for a let down against Everton - who are, after all said and done, a good team. But the backlash on that will likely be bad news for Wolves and West ham, imho.

Everton will be a good yardstick. They are no mugs and if we win against them well who knows.
It's the hope I can't stand.

True enough mate, but the mug with the perm isn't playing which is good ...... never liked players with perms since that Mag bloke.

That little Aussie bassa is though, we'll need to score twice at least because he normally scores against us as mentioned elsewhere.
More confident of progress this time around if we can get a good haul over the course of the next month, which in turn is likely to have a positive impact upon potential transfer activity in Jan.
This next five or six games could have long term far-reaching implications if we can grasp the nettle.

These 'well known truths' like that little Aussie scoring are just the kind of things we need to change in order to make real progress ........... we've changed always losing to the top 4, we've changed never winning in London and changed being a yo-yo club.

All we need is to stop Ameobi scoring and we've cracked it ;)

I've heard from mags who were there, when the bus arrived carrying our players there was a huge mob of scumcastle 'fans':)-?) ready & waiting for them, and they hit them with a huge wall of pure hatred. According to this lad, our players arses fell rit out, "you could see it in their faces" were his exact words

What a f***ing joke, its on Youtube, bunch of kids and a few saddos. I was more frightened playing against Murton when I was at school

Aye alreet Riv marra yiv talked us into it yer silver tongued bassa .

Mine is when people on the SMB constantly say we should sign Zog or whoever in January, when we've been told that there is no money to spend in January due to a lack of value for money...

Another is everyone talking about Henderson leaving in January, get real.
