Where will it be you reckon ?

Personally I like to dodge about and could never see myself settling into a Ground Hog day Scenario.

Are you a long termer staying in the same place for years on end or are you a free spirit who floats from job to job?

Which is best ?

I always thought I would fine a job and settle but it hasn't happened thus far, I've only had my current job for 5 months and I've got itchy feet.

I can see a new job in the offing for me shortly.

been here ages and now getting to the point where I despise it..

nice looking contract I saw on Jobserve in Brussels..

I wouldn't mind the redundancy bus to round again.. 12 years shoyudl see a resonable pay out.. give me at least a years grave probably more

12 years

What you do like ?

Leaving this one in three weeks officially. Only five more working days though.

Next one will be a contract.

Been here nearly five years and it's been way too long.

Usually hit the 5 year mark and get itchy feet.
Sort of at that stage now but get paid well and don't have a stressful job.

Always thought I'd move on quite quickly because I got my first job and its at a very small company but alas i got a good few pay rises and so they now pay me more than i could get anywhere else, so i have to either stay, or take a relatively hefty pay cut. Been here 4 and a half years now, cant see meself leaving for a good few years yet tbh

actually done nigh on 15 as I contrcated for 3 of them.

I'm a specialist... this week I've done bugger all... boss has been on holiday and I've loads of stuff I shoudl have done..

get an ear bashing when she gets back.

i'm just changd my role to a Realtionship manager type one and its all poxy spreadhseets and reports somethign I really don't like doing. I preferred the old structure where I was more hands on with the graft.

I've jsut got complacent.. I'm allowed to just get on with it in the most part and I can work around the hours as I want which has fitted in with the kids all the time

plus it pays well and the bonuses are canny. hard to walk away from

Been in my current job 7.5 years after it was meant to just be a gap year between 6th form and Uni. Never did get to Uni and I've spent approx the last 3 years wanting to do something else, but not seen owt I fancy and don't want to leave a steady job for the sake of it when people are getting laid off all around me. Since I'm in a job I never thought I'd have (boring office one) ideally I'd like the next one to be a bit more active.

I get itchy feet pretty quickly, but that's more down to the fact I haven't lived up to my own expectations of a career over the last 10 years.

I can't understand how anyone can stay in a low-paid, low-skill job for years on end when all it serves to do is batter your self-esteem.
