I don't understand the feelings towards Turner's performance from this place. He was the catalyst for almost every longball we played yet folk are praising him but criticising the fact we used the long ball too much. :confused: I think the off-the-line clearance is clouding a few opinions on here.

His heading was poor n'arl imo. Nee composure without Bramble/Mensah alongside him.

Atleast he did head the ball from danger on ocassions.

My Man of the Match for me was Zenden. The "Notepad & Pen Brigade" still annoy me but I am trying to be more analytical than ever before and look at the game at a deeper level than the superficial and thought his crossing was very good.
 
Welbeck for me with Bardsley a very close second.

At the same match as me. Although Gordon is worthy of mention.
