Your Man of the Match?

I don't understand the feelings towards Turner's performance from this place. He was the catalyst for almost every longball we played yet folk are praising him but criticising the fact we used the long ball too much. I think the off-the-line clearance is clouding a few opinions on here.

You don't understand about a defender defending and clearing a ball of the line?
I think you having no f***ing idea about what players are meant to do what might be clouding your judgement.

this but with the sweary bit taken out & replaced with titt-ing:confused:

I thought Ferdinand was outstanding, cleared everything & won a lot in the air.

Cattermole had his best game for us IMO

spot the man who left before the end ? You missed Anton's "stepover" letting Beckford in with a clear run on goal.

Wellbeck and Catts for me, followed by Bardo

No, just judging over 90 mins. Does Nedum get stick for awful defending for the first goal, or Turner for mis-reading the cross and getting underneath it ? Or is Anton the scapegoat ?

I can understand why everyone will go for Welbeck but i'm saying Bardsley, really seems to have upped his game recently and actually looks comfortable going forward now.

Didn't see the game tonight but I have seen the past 4-5 games and been amazed at not only how SOLID Bardo has looked at LB, but also ho much he seems to have improved his passing and decisionmaking when getting forward.

It's kind of freaky how much more comfortable he looks on the left side.

Somebody stole our Bardsley and replaced him with a ringer! :)

All credit to the lad, he certainly seems to have upped his game.

Welbeck and Bardsley were the only two to carry on the same level of performance from last week.....both gave a 100% from start to end. Welbeck is looking undroppable at the moment and Bardsley has really made that left back spot his own now. Kept Coleman completely out of the game.... pity the other side of the pitch was not kept as quite.
Anyway an entertaining game...could of gone either way really but draw was far in the end.
A great sign of progress too to draw with Everton even while being a little under par and with being hit by a few injuries.

I dont know what game im watching to some of you, Cattermole in my eyes was shocking last night!!

Welbeck, sounds stupid but apart from 2 goals he done little!

Bardsley was my man of the match!!

yes it sounds stupid because it is completely wrong. He was magnificent again in chasing every ball down, putting their defence under pressure, held up the ball very well.

Cattermole also had a good game.
