Your first non-Sunderland football shirt?

Havelock School 2nd team. It was a bit like Brazil's kit. First one I can remember owning was a white Liverpool away top that they wore in the 1977 Cup Final. Dunno why cos I've never supported them. Must have looked decent and caught my eye.

St Etienne and Borussia Moenchengladbach, both around 78-79. Used to like European club strips with green in them for some reason. No idea why!

Was down Bournemouth for a family do 5 years ago this weekend and me and my duaghter and my other duaghters boyfriend went to see Yeovil play in the FA Cup 3rd round. When we got there it was freezing and we had a quick look in the club shop and they were selling off the previous seasons away shirts for £10 so we all bought one as much for the extra layer as anything else.

That's the only non Sunderland/England shirt I have ever owned and now use it for painting, so as well as the green and yellow hoops it also has numerous other colours now.

Feyenoord away from Gretna market when I was about 12. Yellow / gold one with Opel sponsor. I wish I still had it.

Mine was a St Etienne shirt from the early 80's!

I loved that top, wish I still had it!

West Ham away when I was a kid In the late 60’s. Not a clue why. Probably just liked it and West Ham had won the World Cup.

Had no affinity to west ham...but I thought Alan Devonshire was a hell of a player when I was younger.

My first football shirt was a Sunderland shirt (circa 1970) but away shirts were not common in those days.

I next bought myself a Sheff Wed shirt which was nothing like what they wear today. It was basically a dark blue version of the shirt Arsenal have always worn in red. Plain blue front and back with white sleeves.

Loved it at the time.
Dukla Prague away kit (Christmas present).

Apart from foreign strips bought on holiday, the only non-Sunderland English team's shirt I've had was the Liverpool away top from 1984-85 season (yellow with white pin stripe). Santa brought it because I was an Ian Rush fan.

Went to play in a football tournament in Belgium around 1982 time and brought home a Club Brugge top, black and blue stripes with St Louis across the front in white writing.
