Baring in mind the op said 'favourite' not best I've gone with players more from when i was a kid. I'm too cynical now to have favourites.

Wow Glenn Hoddle doesn't get a start 🙉

I remember him playing sweeper for Swindon at Roker Park in a 0-0 draw late in the season in 1992. It was a monday night, we had a massive fixture pile up due to our 92 FA Cup final run

Hoddke on the bench!?

It’s favourite not best.
It’s skewed by time unfortunately and the late 70’s my favourite period following Swindon. No current day players in that team.
Micky H - great Sunderland lad.

Did you really never see Don Rogers play?

Good players but an imbalance in midfield and a strange choice at right back?

I did see Don Rogers but right at the end of his career.
He was done by then. 1975 my first season mate.
Wow Glenn Hoddle doesn't get a start 🙉

As said before favourite not best.
If a best Hoddle would definitely be on it.
Mind you a best could put out a cracking Swindon side.
Calderwood over Hoddle every day in favourite. He went from Division Four with us right to the top.

Met Andy Rowland as one of my Mates played a blinder which I was grateful.
At a sponsored match, meal and drinks before the game and all that.
In walks Andy Rowland and sits down next to me and had not noticed.
My face and language when I turned around.
Spent 15 mins in the table chatting, special moment.
