Young People Being Blamed.....

I’m 28 so while not really young anymore I’m still relatively youthful still.

I hold my hands up I’ve probably been pretty lax throughout all this and especially so since the lockdown restrictions got lifted.

I actually fall into the vulnerable category so youd think I’d be more careful but once I’ve had a skinful it just goes out the window.

I had a scare the past few days which has thankfully turned out to be a false alarm but I definitely could have avoided it had I tried harder. I’ve decided I’m gunna avoid going out for the foreseeable as I don’t want to jeopardise mine or anyone else’s health and I don’t trust myself after a drink to be completely honest.

It’s too easy to forget what’s going on when you’re a single person who’s had ten pints and you get chatting to lasses.

Fair to say I shit my pants yesterday though when I thought I may have been in contact with someone with it.
You have a miss conception of YOUNG
I’m talking about party goers protesters ravers drinkers and all who flout the rules not kids and children
people up to 45/55 come into the bracket also
the old people say over 60 are more inclined to abide by the rules and keep there distance
hence the Covid getting worse with the restrictions lifted and the younger
people flouting the rules
yes I go out and drink but I keep my distance no contact with anyone and keep clean using the sanitiser regularly
ALL PEOPLE HAVE TO KEEP THERE DISTANCE
I’ll just add this bit
in these difficult times its not easy to have new relationships

I lumped in everyone who isn't young, vs everyone who is.
The claim is that young people are the problem. Fuck me, is this really this important?

Well your the one that seems overly bothered about it

There is a clear correlation of infections to age groups. How you can try & dispute it is beyond me.

I've not said the young are a 'problem' either. I'm generally pro heard immunity, so for me they're doing us all a favour

Anyone else catch that young lass in Sunderland being asked by look north if its right that young people are being blamed for spreading this.

“NOR WE HAVE TO LIVE OUR LIVES MAN”

Jesus. You just cringe.

You see people have opinions
weather it’s young or old It’s down to social distancing
I don’t see many old people at raves or protesting forming gangs on street corners rolling about drunk parting going to mass gatherings and basically flouting the rules
DO YOU

Yeah

But it is oldies travelling to socialise in pubs etc. There are still people piling into Newcastle on a weekend who don't live in the city.

I don't agree that we should stop the economy or hospitality industry from recovering but perhaps is we need to ban non essential travel. People need to stay and support their own locales

Not a lot to support round where I live mind. No restaurants in walking distance just one pub, a couple of chineses and a pizza/kebab takeaway

Loads of gatherings, protests in London over the last few weeks...no big increase in cases, it's as if they've realised you don't get local hassle/lock downs if you don't get tested, it can be the only explanation for a city that size.
Loads of fat old people not wearing masks in the supermarket today. Can't blame the young uns thinking - FECK EM.

Aand why do you think that is ?

Of course it is and also the hospital admissions if that's what your getting at ?
Mr Shielder No one of importance is gonna wake up tommorow and go “ah, you know what? We don’t need a vaccine, Lets just get every walk of life back to normal immediately because a few loons on the internet are pointing out that iTs TiMe To GeT oN wItH iT cOz ItS OnLy A fLu & nO 1 iS gEtTiNg iLl AnYmOrE, aLmoSt nO1 iS dYiNg Of It” 🤡

How old do you call old I’m talking about over 60s I dont see them parting and forming groups

A lot of younger people have given up on social distancing and rules on mixing, they are all enjoying getting stuck into their coke and booze in Pubs & at Houseparties. It’s all a good laugh at the moment (until they all start killing their grannies in due course, which will happen btw) as none of them are getting ill and they are back sessioning and living out their fake social media lives on Insta etc.

But: They are also the same people who are crying they can’t get in nightclubs, can’t get to ibiza, Glastonbury is cancelled, Uni is going to be shit for XYZ reason (heard this none stop lately), they have lost their part time job at Frankie & Bennies and they are gonna be screwed for getting jobs in years to come, they will never clear their growing debt, their futures are fucked etc.

You reap what you sow.
