Had a slow start but he'd barely played for 18 months or so. He was fantastic when Allardyce actually organised us. much better than Kone who seemed to get the plaudits.

They formed an excellent partnership him and Kone, wish we had kept kaboom and replaced Kone like!

Yeah at the time I thought Kone was an absolute snake, but I still didn't want to lose him. Maybe Kaboul's injuries would have meant he wouldn't play a full season as well, but we just made poor choice after poor choice and it snowballed.
