Where the fuck is Latham? This is now quite clearly our worst season for overseas failures. One was a busted flush, the other can't even get on the field.
9,000 there tonight apparently. We'll be lucky to get 900 for the remaining games combined with that sort of form.

Seriously the club is at an all time low, no encouragement from any area just constant blame towards the ECB. I do sympathise but they should stand up and be counted not wallow in misery. Worse than any season in the 90s / early 2000's so far.

I was just thinking that. Least ways we managed to bat through the 20 overs. 6 off the last ball. Maybe Weighell should open?
Really this T20 competition just reflects the way we have played in the CC. Stagger along, batting collapse with the tail having to make a big contribution. Then become a bit more consistent and eventually manage a couple of wins. Except in the T20 theres no time to for late order batting recoveries. So instead we just get hammered.

I remember someone once telling me Weighall is a decent batsman who has batted higher up in the past at some level. Someone on here will know. Alarming how poor we are mind

i banged on about him for a canny while after seeing him bat really well at arundel in a seconds final. t20 iirc
also saw him at CLS in a seconds final which ws 50 overs. tbh i can't remember if he batted well or not that day

At this point in time you could reverse the batting order and it wouldn't make much difference.

Was pretty much a batsman only really when he was with the Academy first time around or he was once he left anyway and I think a read an injury stopped him bowling much. Now he's reinvented as a strike bowler who bats 9 or 10 (!)
When He made his Durham debut I thought he might bat 6 or 7 tbh going off that.
