York tomorrow

Same here. Nearly everyone I have spoken to about York who isn't from here goes on about how good it must be to live there, but really it isn't. If your not into your history which I'm not its just as boring as any other place.

Agree its pretty good for a night out though.

Aye there's not much to see there that's not historical, but by the same token you wouldn't go to the match if you hated footy.

Some decent places to eat and drink though, and the off-chance of seeing a bit of flange in the museum gardens if the weather is good.

Would hate to live in York, traffic a fricken nightmare:cry:

Our lass (nee pics) works there. She's just left work so it'll take her about an hour to get the 14 or so miles home.

The ring road is like a giant car park most of the time. If ever a road needed to be dual carriageway its that one.
 
Marco's place is quiet, but close to the station and not too far from the town. It's on a main bus route too if you're feeling lazy. I personally enjoy the walk. It's friendly, and not expensive. £45/night b+b is what i'll pay.
