Yellow cards World Cup

Was thinking that. Not sure what people are complaining about.
Players missing the most important games of their career because an opponent has thrown himself down in front of then.

Sounds like anti-Trump derangement syndrome.
The bloke's a knacker who threatened to invade Canada. But should be gone because he got rid of the draft yellow card rule in the world cup

Punish foul/dangerous/dirty play.
Truth is these days you can easily be carded for farting in the wrong direction.

Getting rid of the 2 yellow card rule makes sense. Yellow cards were first introduced in the 1970 World Cup as a warning to players. The game has moved on from cards rarely being giving to yellow cards being dished out in ever game.

Also, this isn't about Trump. It's a rule change. It happens at every World Cup and at the start of the season.

They're not getting rid of it. A player can still get a ban if they're booked twice in the group stages or are booked twice in the first three knockout rounds.

Good rule getting rid of 2 yellow cards and a ban. Been so many players miss semi finals and finals for collecting 2 yellow cards. Ridiculous really it’s so easy to pick up a booking these days

Correct.

Didn't Diarra miss the AFCON final because he'd been booked in the round of 16 and then again in the SF? Madness.
