Yanis Begraoui.

100% right. people rewriting history

Absoltuely nothing to do with being young that defeat, we literally had no players to pick in key positions

no it didn't, hope that helps

we had to play Gooch centre back and Roberts wing back as we had nobody else fit

hope that helps, maybe ask your source.
We conceded 5 goals in the last three games. They all came from set pieces and exploited our lack of defenders. Mowbray said our problem was that we couldn't stop the supply in to the box and that was because he wanted Roberts to do that, as our full backs were in the centre. Had we Ballard and Cirkin fit we may well be at Wembley this weekend. To suggest that the occasion was too big for the young lads seems like someone is trying to get the narrative to suit a separate argument.

100%.

Some now suggesting we didnt even have injuries,

I may be wrong but I think he scored 8 goals in the French second teir after a January loan, so I guess that's about 8 goals in 15 games. That will probably have been the scouting period and its sounds like a young lad hitting bhis stride.
Yes, you're wrong. Toulouse B don't play in the French second division. They play in a French version of the Wearside League (Or TBH, more like the Washington League). So if you aimed to sign a team consisting of players who can score eight in that league, you're likely to end up with a team full of plumbers called Barry Dunnóis. Not recommended.

We are asking young lads taking their first steps into proper men's football to play 30 plus games a season at a level they have never played at. The mental and physical toll on them must be huge, we need some experience around them

He's played for Pau since January who play in the French Second division and scored 8 in 15 I believe. Its the same league as Bordeaux and St Etienne, so I presume a decent standard.

It did serve us well last year, when we over achieved. But, I'd agree that we need to but some experience. There is no doubt that Evans was really important in the first half of the season and Batth, along with O'Nien, were vital in the second half. I would expect/hope we will continue to get the odd experienced player in amongst the youngsters. Its definitely the blend that has worked.

Spot on, it needs a mix. The championship is a tough league when the games start coming thick and fast.

Just the tactical data these lads are given must be a big step up from playing for U21's let alone the physical side and playing 2 games a week.

Despite what some think I don't think Speakman is an eejit and he would recognise that there needs to be some experience in there. He has recently given Evans and contract extension and exercised Pritchards extra year. If we buy 5 players this summer I would guess one will be more experienced.

Hopefully, I'm sure there will be a mix, just the rumour mill seems to have a 24 and under filter on it

And every transfer rumours is linking us with more and more young players, not one over 24.

I love these young signings but they can't all be kids, that's all I'm saying
And you knew in advance the last time SAFC signed a player when? For fucks sake wake up these folks are professionals and are doing the right thing. Mr Mowbrays need for 1 or 2 experienced players will be listened too and if the deals can be done they will be.
