Our council redcar & Cleveland have put up theirs on the lampposts round here they dee it every year

Christmas starts in August with ads in pubs etc for Christmas dinner bookings. It ends about march when the shops finally stop selling the now recuced tat they couldn't sell before Xmas. For me it should start in December and end in December. We don't need reminding of it for 8 months of the year.
No I'm not Ebenezer Scrooge.
