Stuck a load of the blue icicle ones along the guttering of my house last night. Bought one long length (think it was 9.8m) and by pure chance it extended exactly from one end to the other. What a feeling.

Everything has become americanized these days, f***ing xmas jumpers, decorations, christmas eve boxes, stockings (even though most people don’t have a mantle anymore), winter wonderlands, and all that bollocks was never any of this shit in the 80s. Imagine if kids got pieces of fruit in their stockings nowadays man

Nah, stockings are one of the oldest Christmas european traditions and we had them in the 80s as kids. Still hang them up now but just as decorations (also not Americanised ) on the fire place, proper fire hazard
