Wyke injured

Interesting situation for Parkinson if he wants to play direct long ball but has lost his big target man.
McNulty is not short but doesn’t really fit the description .
Could he convert any of our stronger players from other positions?
Cue “could do no worse than Wyke” type responses ,
but is maybe true .
He could try one of our redundant centre halves up there ???

Ankle ligaments according to parky.

I'm not 1 to wish ill on anyone but he wont be missed.

He is an absolute carthorse.

I never want any player least of all any Sunderland lad to be injured. If he is not performing well it is up to the manager not to pick. To take delight from what might be a long term injury... begs for karma

Yes he is, he's about 5 foot 10

Anar it's easy to pray in aid an example such as this, when he's just notched both goals in a frankly unexpected win against the league leaders, but other teams seem to be able to pick up players like this without too much difficulty:

Need to go out and sign a striker in January now. Someone strong, athletic and powerful.

Sign that Akinfenwa, he's no worse than what we've got.
