Wycombe Fans,

On the Wycombe forum they're asking fans to leaflet cars and homes to try to get people to go.

It's truly pathetic tbh.
The other point they are neglecting to see is the travel issues for Sunderland supporters. If they are waiting for the last minute before potentially giving us more tickets then people have to try and arrange last minute travel which is in short supply. It’s ok if you have a 30 mile jaunt like they do - it would be like us popping down to Middlesbrough for the day.

I remember Wycombe as a non league club holding the then top four top flight club Middlesbrough ( managed by Jack Charlton ) to a nil nil draw in the cup.
Yeah I remember that.
We struggled to win the replay at Ayresome too.
1 - 0 (David Armstrong penalty)

Thing is, no ones asking wycombe to end sales are they? No ones saying stop.

They're just saying release the unallocated blocks....the 15k to poss 20k that may be left empty

Anyone been monitoring the thoughts of the Wycombe fans for next week on social media? What a set of cocky bastards they are. Never read one of them who thinks they'll lose. Every single one seems to think they merely have to turn up to win.

No idea where they get this arrogance from.
That's the most dick-ish thing I've heard in ages.

I think the point is Wycombe want the option to sell until the last minute.

On our last Wembley visit for a L2 play off final I know people who bought tickets the day before (maybe even on the day but I can’t remember). Returning tickets at this stage denies people the chance to do that.
due to our geography we haven't really got that option

Yes, but surely those 'indecisive stragglers' have the right to be just that with WYCOMBE tickets.
There shouldn't (imo).be a time limit imposed just because your club has sold out first.

Not being rude but you're only on here for an argument and you're not worth the bother.

If you were clever or witty that might be different.

You've no business on here other than your own empty life.

They have sold about 4x their average attendance so far, and they are now only on sale to those who had an account before 8th May. I think it would be safe to assume they aren't gonna come anywhere close to selling out, probably safe to give us a couple of blocks and see how it goes.

Devils advocate doesn't suit you. You don't do it very well. Holding back a few hundred for possible 'stragglers' should block releasing a block for definite customers.

Not to mention that they get 25% from the sales of those otherwise unused tickets.

So if they avoid 20,000 empty seats, that's equal to getting all the revenues from the sale of 5,000 tickets.

But it's very easy to do, hence his relentless grubby presence.

They can still give them those 28000 or whatever tickets which they won't fully sell out no problem. Our fans are just asking for the blocks that aren't being put on sale to be made available for us to buy as we have a massive demand for tickets still

Funny how a difference of opinion gets met with a temper tantrum.

Not my fault that a lot of your fans are so entitled and think every other club and organisation should bow down to what you want.
