We had over 40000 tickets at the end of phase 2 we have 24000 season ticket holders. Admittedly not the same scale as WW but the potential for those tickets to go to someone who has never been to a game is way over 6000.

Anyway the originally point I was raising was you said “you’ll have people attending who have never been to a game. That won’t happen with SAFC” and I said you cannot guarantee that, which you can’t.

That's just a wild guess and a quite ridiculous post.

We had 42,000 Sunderland supporters at the semi final.

Yet you're claiming that way over 6000 of the 40,000 at Wembley may never have been to a Sunderland game.

Sorry but you seem absolutely desperate to put Sunderland, and the supporters, down for some reason.

I suspect you'll argue this to the death, very strange behaviour.

I am not trying to put Sunderland fans down at all.

His first post said there won’t be any SAFC fans there who have never been to a game. My point was he cannot guarantee that so to use it as a stick to beat Wycombe is wrong.

He then said that there maybe 6,000

Did you say this,

' the potential for those tickets to go to someone who has never been to a game is way over 6000.'

Yes “potential” which is correct.

I didn’t realise you knew the names of every season ticket holders additional ticket purchases and their attending history.

We have sold almost 47,000 tickets yet have at maximum 27k this and next season season ticket holders, if you say 10k 10+ home games (which is probably high) that still leaves 10k tickets which “potentially” could be in the hands of people who have never been to a game.

Not ARE in the hands but POTENTIALLY could be

You're really being pedantic, obtuse and quite silly tbh.

And yes, you're trying your best to diminish our support.

What a way to spend the build up to a great day.

I’m really not, just find it hypocritical when people say “that wouldn’t happen with SAFC.” When it cannot be proven.

If you look at my posts today you will find I have spent most of my day trying to give away a free adult and child ticket on here to a SAFC fan actually.

So I am trying to enhance our support.

Yet you're spending all this time trying to 'prove' the point you're putting forward.

The fact is we had the same amount of Sunderland supporters for the semi as we will for the final.

This idea of way more than 6000 attending their first game is just ridiculous.

If you can't/won't accept that, fair enough mate.

Mate you’re missing my point, I know it won’t be 6,000 for a fact. However it could be (it won’t we know that) so how can we slag Wycombe off and say we won’t have any.

That’s my point, anyway let’s just forget it

You're quite correct, I really don't know what your point is.

Some of the shite on here from the likes of @Sidewinder2 (this post) and another thread by @tunstallhill going on about whether people will sing the national anthem on Saturday is bewildering.

Can’t people just enjoy the crack in the build up to see our club in a massive fixture at Wembley instead of pointless, destructive bullshit? 👍

What you on about man I was just asking 1) will it be played and 2) why is it played.... Toughen up man

The thousands of empty seats won't be in our end though, that'll be segregation and corps.

Size of club shouldn't mean the smaller team is limited from selling as many as they can.

Would you be ok with a 10k allocation Vs United if you played them just because they have such a large fan base?

No, because we could sell our allocation. The amount of empty seats was a disgrace imo. They should have managed it better and those that wanted tickets should have been given them.
