He doesn't need it but who else realistically is going to win? I'd like to see Knight do it, but I don't think they see him as anything more than a popular mid-carder.

That leaves Andrade, Penta, Sikoa and El Grande Americano - what a field :D

I think it's got to be Knight or Rollins realistically. They're setting up Penta-Americano, Solo will be feuding with Fatu next and they won't waste MITB on the US belt, Andrade - I don't think I've ever seen him wrestle, so where would his story go.

Knight's clear of all feuds right now I think so it's an ideal opportunity to elevate him. It's a bizarre field though, I agree. They should have stuck Kross in there.

Completely, it was always meant to be an up and comer winning it and catapulting themselves into the main event picture, Edge, RVD, Kennedy. Whilst they did this last year with Stratton, in years gone by Orton, Lesnar and McIntyre have won it and Rollins is definitely going to win it this year. The women's looks a bit more interesting with Perez, Vaquer and Guilia but I think Naomi is going to win it.

I think Knight is a good choice. He's completely over and could be the up and coming babyface that chases Cena's title (Or even Gunther if he reclaims), he's entertaining and far from terrible in the ring, I do think they just see him as a strong mid carder though and his age might count against him (It shouldn't given Punk and Cena are still dominating the main event scene).

Andrade has no heat but is a bit of a flyer so may at least provide some entertainment. The El Grande Americano stuff is a bit of a laugh but why can't they just push Gable on his own? He's class.

Kross needs more TV time.

For the 1000th time too, how is Jey Uso so popular, I just don't get it.

So as it stands, 1 day before the event, there are 4 matches at MITB.

Women's MITB match
Men's MITB match
Becky/Lyra
Jey/Cody vs Paul/Cena

One fairly insignificant title on the line, only 4 matches for a PLE, they are taking the piss :D

Biggest roster ever and this is all they can do. Expect more releases, apparently TKO are $3b in debt. Would make some sense given the increase in advertising on the ring, during shows and 31 talents released this year so far. Kross' contract due to expire in 5 months and no renewal talks yet...

Where'as AEW have about 12 matches that go on and on killing everything going forward for f***ing hours :lol: . Can nen of them get it right!

WWE had it right years ago, about 8 matches with the main event(s) usually being the only ones of meaningful length. Every match now seems to go on an age and be a total spot fest.
