Wrestling - Part 3

I like Penta, I'd rather watch Penta against someone than see Becky Lynch or Balor! Lynch has been dull since 2019. They need to shift on some of these now like

Balor is dull as dishwater later. Got no issues with Lynch but tbh I only started watching against last year so haven't really seen her push from the mid 2010's onwards.

Tag division on Raw has nowt going for it either. New Day had all the heat in the world and now no one cares.

Lynch was canny around 2019. She was easily the draw of the company other than Regins and Brock. She left in 2020 and has seemingly developed some kind of resentment of what got her popular in the first place. Since she's been back she's ditched everything that made her interesting, it was also 6 years agan!

*Same with Bayley. Everything that made her really popular, nah not doing that. Now her character is "I have Gary Oldmans hair in Fifth Element"

Anyone know of an online resource (even one that might require a PM) where I can watch ECW's PPV catalogue?
Best you can do atm is Google matches and some come up uncut on Daily motion. It's a f***ing awful site though. When it was all on the network (when that was around) it wasn't presented as it should've been. Lots of stuff cut and edited. There's definitely full ppv dvds on eBay but they can go for silly money.

Ive tried since it went to Netflix but I just can’t watch modern wrestling matches.

I can chuck on an old Raw from 98 or even stick on old wcw shows with no context to the storylines but I can watch a match. You can see where they are going, i.e when Kane pulls his glove you know some **** is about to get chokeslammed and its game over. Now its just finishing move after finishing move, constant kick outs and I can’t get into it

Wrestleme did a great video on the corporate nature of the Netflix debut

"People watch wrestling to get away from office sfuff". Etc

Say stuff like back in the day the corporate people were the bad guys and the average joe uses wwe as escapism from their office jobs. One comment nailed it for me by saying the rock threw his final boss character in the bin because of it and it was one of his best runs of the past few years

Probably why they are obsessed with shoe horning in celebrities in these days

I used to have a pretty extensive library of ECW VHS tapes. Obviously long since gone. Shame.

I watch these two and they're pretty spot on but I reckon they went ott here... then again I stopped watching OSW review because they were trying to say Jack Perry's Scapegoat gimmick was "so good". Not listening to that shite
