Would you ever bet on a horse at 22,500-1?

I won £2K on a 26000/1 horse racing accumulator by cashing out after 4 of 5 races once.

How do I work out the covid scenario with that?

The vaccination programme is to greatly reduce the chance of hospitalisation/death/transmission and variants. Surely it’s worth getting for these reasons alone?
