Would Mowbray have won that game?

I honestly don't think he would have. There was more urgency and movement about the team today and they created much more space. Something seemed different, and I felt Dodds had freed them up a bit. Good decisions in-game from him too.

He doesn’t play Bellingham up front
He doesn’t make less than 4 subs and unsettle the team on 60 mins
He probably plays burstow
The direct balls into the box and forward are a welcome return that had gone missing
He plays Hume in holding midfield or some nonsense

The bloke did a great Job, but time was right for him to leave, you could see the improvement today

if the Lino hadn’t got the offside call wrong and Jobe’s goal had been given then yes TM would have won that game. We haven’t dropped points in any game we have gone ahead, according to Sky.
Well TM wasn’t manager today. He wouldn’t have set the team up the same way, we wouldn’t have created the same chances. The chance today wouldn’t have happened. The only thing we do know is we had a good home win against a good side.

I don’t think we are going to put to bed the TM thing until we know who we get in.

I posted earlier today I got it wrong when I thought we had someone lined up. We clearly didn’t.

That informs me that they were desperate to get rid of him at the first opportunity .

I wonder why, something happened .

Hard to tell but playing Huggins right back was an instant improvement.

We had more intensity and moved the ball forward quicker than we have done for weeks today.

There was also less reliance on Clarke, the threats were spread around more today with Roberts also looking back to his very best.

Really thought there was a lot more discipline in the 1st half. Really was a good tactical face off with Adil not allowing Molumby to get the ball off the the CB's but 2nd half we absolutely shelled them, for me the dirty bastards didn't deserve their goal but as we all know life isn't always fair.

No. The bloke had no ideas what to do.

When Dodds went to a back 3 and 2 up top, Mowbray would have made a triple sub and lost all rhythm.

No, bcause he'd have persisted with the nonsense of inverting FB's, clogging up the centre and allowing the opposition to double up on our biggest attacking threats out wide.

He'd have also made a triple substitution on 60-65 minutes which would have resulted in us being a disjointed mess afterwards, as has been the case for months.

He would have also brought on Dack and not Pritchard, who contributed 2 assists.
A big fan then? :) :)
