Worst SAFC manager: MON or Bruce?

Mon and I think the fact we haven't heard anything from him would seem to indicate that he knows he had a stinker as well.

MON was clearly he worst. I lost it with him while the great majority on here were still literally claiming to love him. All that nollocks about what an intelligent bloke he was when he couldnt see what was staring 40 000 people in the face. Chasing a game with ten minutes left and he pulls off a striker and sends on a defender. That was it for me. His ONLY saving grace is that since leaving he's mercifully disappeared as I couldn't stand the site of the speccy wanker all over the TV whingeing on his excuses. Bruce went on like a complete fanny after getting the sack. If he'd kept his trap shut he no doubt would have been remembered more warmly as someone who gave it a good go but ultimately fell short. As it is I hope he fails again (he will) and fucks off out of the public eye for good like MON.

Bruce had two good spells during the first half of his full seasons here then it all went tits up. O'Neill had a good spell initially then that went all tits up since being knocked out of the cup against Everton. So personally I'd say they were even, started well then went shite.

Great counter-argument.
I couldn't be arsed to type it out, especially as the argument was as I said horseshit. Claiming a couple of signings by the previous manager hamstrung O'Neill. Nice try. But horseshit. You obviously haven't seen the TV money stats lately.

The O'Neill excuse inventors are a rum lot. I had a cabbie claim he'd asked Ellis to cancel his contract three times so be could look after his dying wife but Ellis said no you have to stay. Complete with invented quotes, the lot. Amazing how many people can't accept he just wasn't the manager we thought he would be.

there have been much worse managers for us than these two some people on here want to have gone through a season with mick buxton in charge in the bottom half of the old 2nd division

but mon was worse than bruce

At the moment, DiCanio. 12 games, 2 wins

or put another way, 0.5pt per game=19 points in a season.

And we thought Mic Mac was bad..[DOUBLEPOST=1378027870][/DOUBLEPOST]
