Worst Reaction To Derby Loss

I have seen a few including the 2-0 the 5-1 and the 1-4 at the SoL, but for me probably the worst was the 3-2 at the Landfill in 2005.

We fought so hard and came so close with what (on paper) was not a great team. I had flown in just for the game and had to get back to Birmingham airport after it. The worst bit was the A1 out of Newcastle straight after the game. It was rammed with cars full of happy mag faces. I found that hard to bear.

I actually reckon that game truly destroyed our season. Of course, even had we won I still think we would have gone down, but after trying so hard and still getting nowt, I feel as a team their heads dropped.

The ex started going whats up with you. lighten up its just football...but really going on and on blah blah blah. Id had a few and told her i hated her and hadnt loved her for years....never slept in the same bed again.....left her a few weeks later....divorced now. RESULT!!

f***ing hell.

The 5-1 game when we went 3-0 down I left the room and punched the wall, me dad went off it because I done that so I punched the door on the way out aswell and started arguing with him forma while, I must say I've had better days.

I was watching this in Newcastle with mag mates and when the goals started going in, I realised that our then current manager was an idiot and the players were a bunch overpaid, no talent bottlers.

Without checking the squad for that day, I think some of them are still with us.

It was the day when my apathy towards the modern game started.

The players didn't care and I was starting to feel the same way.

Went to hospital on the tuesday before the 5-1 game a was ill ended up getting penicillin as the medication but held on to my ticket in hope i would get better, woke up on the morning of the game fucked had to flog my ticket to a mate who was buzzin his tits off laughing in my face as he left and i quivered back into the house, watched it on sky and felt a sinking feeling with every goal straight to bed woke up around 23:00 covered in huge lumps all over constantly being sick, rushed back into hospital on a drip all night, doctor says i was allergic to penicillin i still blame it on the match, quite easily the worst day of my life.

Snap jabbed a giraffe when I went on a safari after the Ryan Taylor goal at the Sol. Our lass booked a trip to Tunisia before the futures were announced and I believe it was the first game at home? Had to get a taxi for miles to a bar to watch it. Returned back to hotel and our lass decided to book a safari. Went along and was good unitil the giraffe I was feeding decided it wanted more than leaf. The rage just build up and I put that down to the previous Ryan Taylor goal.

True story.

  class

After the 5-1 I felt physically sick for a week.

This. I also went straight back home from the match and went to bed (8pm), didn't speak to anyone for days. Worst was all the plastic Mags at Sunderland Uni giving it the big'un the next day. Me mate said that I looked ill when he saw me.

I smashed my iPhone when Nolan did his third chicken dance. f***ing launched it off the living room wall, put a f***ing hole in the plaster and broke my phone. Then left and when to bed.

I was at uni at the time i ended up leaving a lecture due to mag pals winding me up so much. Never been so embarrassed by my team.

Id honestly do anything no to have to go through that kind of humiliation again. I hate them so much, ill go f***ing crackers if we beat them.
