Bruce said: “Phil Bardsley had his best season of his career last year at left-back.

“I don’t think there’s any problem for Phil to play right or left-back because he’s naturally two-footed. He’s very decent on his left foot. You would struggle to identify which is his weaker one.”
Good to see Bruce has a sense of humour.

If Bruce can't tell which is his weaker foot then he should be sacked now, Bardsley needs replacing in the team, will we ever get a left footed left back

or we've got a left back lined up...at last...and Bardsley right back..

I just can't see past Richardson getting a good nunber of games at LB. With the players we've brought in (or are about to), I'd be surprised to see him play much anywhere else.

And thankfully he's one of Bruce's favourites. He'll be trying to get him into the team somewhere; and hopefully it's left back he has in mind.

cant see a problem with it at all.... he cuts in on his right cause thats his prefered shooting foot. nothing wrong with that is there?
