CONMEBOL

Colombia Vs Ecuador 9.30pm
Paraguay Vs Bolivia 11.30pm
Chile Vs Venezuela 1.30am
Peru Vs Uruguay 3.30am

It’s looks like Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile (after 3 straight wins) will all be joining Brazil at the World Cup, with Uruguay, Venezuela and Peru all battling it out for the 5th place play-off spot. Uruguay look good for that at present, you would think Peru would have to beat them tomorrow to keep their hopes alive, while a shock away Venezuela victory would raise a few concerns for Chile.
Probably the best qualification process (Although better when Brazil are there) Venezuela have had a bug going through there camp and had 20 players out I read before (could be rubbish) I think Uruguay will pick a win and get themselves ready to finish in there normal 5th position! I fancy Colombia and Ecuador to draw with Paraguay and Chile also winning.

Bollocks, hadn't heard of that if true - I was wanting Venezuela to make it as it would be nice to have a new name there. Don't underestimate the power of home advantage in these ties though mate - it is amazing the contrasts between just about every sides respective home and away records, think Peru might win that one personally. But aye, definitely one of the best Confederation zones.

Maybe Peru v Uruguay a draw then, can't see Cavani, Suarez, Forlan ect not getting at least a draw although is Peru one of the ones up a mountain?

Not sure about altitude mate, but if you look at Peru's home record in comparison to their away:

H
P6 W4 D1 L1 F7 A3 PTS13

A
P6 W0 D1 L5 F5 A14 PTS 1

Big difference there - it's the same for most.

Uruguay
H
P6 W3 D3 L0 F15 A 7 PTS12

A
P6 W1 D1 L4 F3 A14 PTS4

Uruguay actually wont heir last match 0-1 in Venezuela which was a bit of a surprise at the time. It's weird how it works, Ecuador have won 6 and drawn 1 of their 7 games at home while away they have drawn 2 and lost 3 from their 5.

World Cup qualifying across all the confederations is heading toward the ‘business’ end of the campaign and there is a full schedule of games tomorrow in the UEFA, CONCACAF and CONMEBOL zones.

Lads on Intl duty

Jozy Altidore - USA
Emanuele Giaccherini - Italy
Sebastien Larsson - Sweden
Keiren Westwood, John O’Shea - Rep of Ireland
David Vaughn - Wales

*italicised the matches I feel are of most importance

Pleased Fletch isn't involved. Hope Giacch and Jozy return unscathed.

Fuck the nazional sides - piss take - waste of space - Ingerland vs Mouldiovia - what kind of joke is that - bring back football

What's with the constant love in with Panama like mate?
Bandwagon side marra, although I forgot to big them up on this thread. Mind, the way their last 3 result shave gone, the wheels are almost off it. If they don't beat Jamaica tomorrow night then they are pretty much out. Hope Uzbekistan and/or Venezuela reach the finals as well
