World-beating test and trace system...

Sounds like Test and trace was given wrong information by Amazon who do their own testing.

"Private test results shared with NHS Test and Trace led to 3,853 notifications being wrongly issued on 13 February, the government confirmed"

No it sounds like Amazon did the tests, found employees to be OK and told them so. But on passing on the test results to Test and Trace (how dare they call it NHS Test and Trace?) the results were flipped by T&T and employees were informed they were positive. After being called by loads of worried employees T&T told them it was an error. The fault lies with T&T Shirley.

"The government confirmed that 3,853 notifications telling workers they had tested positive for Covid-19 and needed to self-isolate were wrongly issued on 13 February." from the Independent.

Another Serco Test And Trace outsourcing blunder
Compare that to the 'In House' NHS vaccination scheme.
Even Muchall's against outsourcing.

Well apparently in the medicine community, negative means good. Which makes absolutely no sense. In the real world community, you- that would be chaos.

Testing a hell of a lot of people. It's world beating in that aspect. The characteristics of the virus and it's asymptomatic spread mean it's difficult for track and trace to work as effectively as the world had hoped.
