Workplace troubles

He can be sanctioned for being regularly late. Pisses off the other employees who turn up on time.

Not sure about the email issue like

The use of his phone in compant time will be an issue as well, especially for what he uses it for

Doh!

Legit isn't the guy is notorious throughout our whole building for being a sad weirdo. I have very little to do with him tbf. He left chool in year 9 because someone called him fat (according to someone who knew him then) and quite often his mum or dad pick him up because he's too tired to drive home. He's like a 13 year old in a mid thirties body
I was backing you, until you called his mam mum. You deserve everything you get.

Nothing exciting I'm afraid.

Today was in a long list of really aggravating situations at work involving my useless manager.

Chose to stay behind 2 hours later to finish some work the team I manage hadn't managed to get done (the workload was too much and they had all grafted hard). Sent a quick message to say I would be late home, next thing I'm in a meeting with my arsehole of a manager being given a warning for sending social messages in work and being told it would have to be reported as misconduct. Had enough and said ok I would just go home then. Next thing he's stood saying well this isn't good I don't think you're pulling your weight.

The work was for our whole team all the rest of which had left 90 mins earlier (which theyre well within their right to do), wouldn't care quite as if he hadn't been sat on top trumps online himself and hadn't took a sick day last Friday to drive South for a monster trucks rally. Company have also brought in a relief manager to assist him (his interpretation is do all his work) as this guy has been bursting into tears saying his staff are bullying him. He also now isn't allowed a phone as apparently phone calls cause him anxiety.

Any advice on what to do ? Don't normally post stuff like this but this is the latest in a long list of situations where I've ended up getting more shit for doing extra work than I would if I sacked it off. Needless to say also he's a raging Keegan mag.
Worra Bell whiff that manager of your is. He'll not last long

Kick the c*NTS head in outside of work the big fanny.
Anyone got any experience of this?

There’s a lad in the office who is turning into a problem. Regularly turns up late, complaints about body odour and signs off emails with “sincerely” like a spenk

anyway, today it got worse. He didn’t turn up until 10, didn’t deliver the work I needed and when I checked up on him was watching porn on his phone

reckons he is being victimised and will sue the company

any ideas?
Car park chat needed.

My advice is don't put yourself out doing extra work if your manager is going on like a prick.

Time to leave. Sounds like the atmosphere is toxic and there is no law that says you have to stay and put up with such crap.

This.
The O.P. should just go at his proper finishing time along with the rest of the workforce. Work to rule basically.
If the workload is too much, then it is up to the supervision to manage it better with the workforce he has in the allocated daily schedule, - not put it onto the workforce to stay back.

Just do what you can do and don't stress over it. It'll still be an issue whether you stress or not.
You work as part of a team so make sure your team is behind you as you are behind them. Rough and the smooth, together as a unit.
As for your manager giving you grief. Sing your favourite song in your mind as you pretend to listen to his put downs then say "ok" and walk away to do whatever you did do....but don't add stress.

You only get one life and it's a short one.
Stressing out will not keep your job if you end up ill over it.
