You know the ones I mean - they think blusher is a miracle worker and normally end up looking like Aunt Sally. Especially bad when they are all shiny as well. I assume they learn from their mothers and friends, but either some people have no talent for it, or all their advisors are shit.

No make up is better than bad make up IMHO.

The worst trend these days is that thing of plastering brown eyeshadow all over the eye socket so they look like friggin ghouls. Jennifer Love Hewitt is a nice looking bewer but does her makeup to look like a crack whore. who decided that this was a good idea?

and those who put foundation on with a trowel

Less is more ladies, unless you're going for the clown look ;)

One of my mates always comments that I need more make up on ... Seeing her looking like a Madame tussuads waxwork , all false eyelashes and caked in makeup makes me pity her , men usually end up talking to me rather than her and this genuinely confuses her - the men find her scary lol

It takes me 5 mins max to do my make up. I try to look as natural as I can without looking like I've just got out of bed. It's a fine line.

This has always confused me! Surely to look natural you don't put anything on your face?
Totally get what you mean, but I think lasses like to feel like they've made some sort of effort when they go out, even if it is minimal.

I'm not the kind of lass that has to wear make up just to simply leave the house so a touch of mascara and lippy feels like ive stepped it up a bit, albeit in natural colours!

:)

the worst one's are the one's that look like they've been shot in the face with a paintball gun.

:lol:my ex was brilliant with makeup, she esed to take it out the bag - hoy it in the air and catch it on her face. more than once looked likev coco the clown.

i much prefer to see women without makeup (if they're pretty

Nope. You can put make up on to hide imperfections like bags under your eyes, or to emphasise your lashes, or brighten your complexion but not look like you fell face first over a Dior make up counter.

Foundation/powder/concealer to smooth your skin and cover over, stop shine, but not too much.

Little bit of blush, bit of mascara and some natural lip gloss. Simple as that.

Some lasses look great without makeup, the rest of us need a wee hand... ;)

I used to gan out with a lass who looked like she put her make up on with a gun

She now works on a make up counter advising people on make up
