Depends on whether you're feeding the dog at the same timeIs that better or worse than showering with the dog?
How are they not wild birds?Urban pigeons are not "wild birds" like robins or blackbirds. They're vermin.
How about brushing the dog.It says do not feed the birds. If she had obeyed that sign, would she have been fined, yes or no?

Dog owner fined by Havering Council wardens - for brushing her dogs' hair in park
Pathetic tbh. I would have given false details to the stupid little twat.I’m not struggling with any of it. Are you on a wind up?
She was fined for littering. The enforcement officer believes her throwing the sausage roll on the floor, the act of feeding the bird, was littering.
If she had not fed the bird, she would therefore not have been fined.
Which was my point - the signs say don’t feed the birds. Obey the sign, no fine. Serves her right. I hope the council don’t back down, but they will do.

I’m aware of that. If she had obeyed the signs, she wouldn’t have received the fine though, would she?

Are gulls wild birds?Key word was like.
Pigeons are a pest in towns and cities and are only usually there due to humans dropping food.
You don't tend to see flocks of blackbirds or robins outside Greggs do you.
Are gulls wild birds?
Pigeons just exploit the food source available.
Exactly this.“Signs all over the city asking people not to feed the birds “
Sounds very much like an advisory sign rather than it’s prohibited to feed them at the risk of a fine if you do so.
A little word in her ear asking her not to do it again would have sufficed .
£150 fine for a bit of sausage roll is utterly out of proportion with action. Imho.Exactly. And that's why she was fined.
They're a pest. But they're only a pest because they eat what humans drop.
