That's over 20 million ! Has he paid out money on anyone who is performing ?
Maybe he just can't cut it at the very top table.
After what he did with us that might be the case, although it has to be said, he wasn't given any money when he was with us.
His body language in interviews on telly isn't good mind.
Maybe he knows what's coming.
Good Luck anyway Kidder, except against us of course, send our love to Jody ![/QUOTE]

Most of his signing from when we were in the Championship were spot on and i will always be greatful of the excellent work he has done here but apart from Doyle who is out of form and Zubar who took 5 months to get settled had a few good months at right back last season but has been injured all this season i cant think of anyone he has bought while in the Prem who has dont the business.

Thanks as i think we need some luck right now :-D

You go yesterday kidder-wolf? My mate went and he said it was the same old story; they played well but couldn't score and were shite at the back

I watched it in my local and yep same old story we look so poor infront of goal and error prone at the back.

Time to bring Hennessy back in goal.

Seriously Kidder, down in the midlands with who I would assume are your rivals, ie Villa, Brum WBA and especially Stoke doing okay is this putting more pressure on Mick ?
Are the fans more pished off cos their rivals seem to be doing okay ?

Villa have been better than us for a while now so we dont really mind them doing well.

Brum will be in league 1 in a few years they have no plan what so ever and i wouldnt trust their owners with my club.

West Brom aint doing that well tbf but they may stay up but it is annoying that they are doing so well.

Stoke.. well fair play to them ive got to give them credit and dont begrudge them any success.

So to answer your question no i dont think it is putting any more pressure on Mick. We are only concerned about the state of our club. We know we should be doing better.

Fairy Nuff.
BUT Brum seem to have a very good manager so I don't know if your prediction there will come true.
I am starting to think WBA may go down this season. I was down there this season and the place just doesn't seem like a Premier club.
Yeah, they beat us but are slipping now.
BTW if you go there have a drink and a curry in The Vine, excellent and no trouble unlike The Royal Oak yesterday with Stoke..

Birmingham will have a couple of bad runs this seaon (but still stay up) and their owners will do something stupid and end up sacking him. It will all be down hill by then.

I would love to go to the BC Derby but wont be able to get a ticket in the Wolves end at the Whorethorns so il have to resort to finding a pub thats got the game on.

A few mates sat in said stand when we were there in May and had no bother but remember that the season was nearly over and both teams were safe (and we got beat). No real bother but wouldn't have liked to given away we were Sunderland after the match.

This is what I don't understand. The overall cost of an average away game could cover about 2 or 3 home games

I know Tomo, so will answer this one for him.

He lives in Essex, and has 4 kids who have all been bought up as SAFC fans and like to go to games with him. Because of work commitments can only make saturday games, so would be pointless spending money on 5 season tickets when they cant make sunday, monday or midweek games.

For the record, I know he has been to the all of home games and Wigan, West Brom, Spurs & Chelsea away this season, aswell as Portugal and Hoffenheim. Probably alot more than most

Fair enough, it's when people from up here who will sit in the pub for home games that are £10 yet manage to spend hundreds on away games that puzzle me

I know a load of lads that only go the away games; they simply enjoy it more

We're down in brum on stag weekend, didnt get tickets, looking into getting a box, but its £765 + vat. Nee bait or grog for that either!!

I agree, people like me and Tomo would love to have season tickets and be able to nip 5 minutes down the road to games, but work and family simply mean that there is no point paying for alot of games that you know you wont be able to make, so you have to pick and choose games. But that also means you struggle to get away tickets for the games of high demand or small allocations.

Boils my piss when people come out with uber-esque comments like "why didnt you get a ticket in our end" without knowing the full facts ;)
