Wolfhunter
Full Back
I'm not powerful enough to attempt it yet!The DLC, Blood and Wine in particular is superb. Possibly better than the main game though about 1/3 the size

This is available on the game pass. Worth a try?
I’ve hammered this since the new year and I’m not even onto those S (?) islands!
How long do people normally spend on their first play through ?
My Grandmaster Ursine armour was great. Could just tank the fuck out of most enemies.Think it's to encourage you to do it after the base game which makes sense. There's some class gear you can get as well which makes NG+ easier
Same.Still can't fully get my head around it.
The "good" ending seems to boil down to pick one love interest and don't be a knob.Just finished the main game and got the "good" ending, now on to blood and wine and hearts of stone!
Same.
Beat the first lad easily at the beginning of the game but now everyone I ask to play completely batter me.
Even if I try and win the first round, my opponent refuses to back down and beats me with a score of 30 points or something daft just to make sure I don’t win the round.
Either that lad at the beginning let me win or is absolutely horrendous at the game.
Aye, pretty much...The "good" ending seems to boil down to pick one love interest and don't be a knob.
Aye I’ve tried that tactic too but it still doesn’t seem to work.I always lost the first round intentionally and tried to keep ahead in terms of cards in hand. Usually helped.
Me too, I also only won the first game. Only played half a dozen times then sacked it off!Aye I’ve tried that tactic too but it still doesn’t seem to work.
I’m probably just shite at it.
It’s really good, I got the GOTY edition, by the time I got to the blood and wine DLC, i got pissed off. Just too much of the same thing...Great while it lasted though.
I couldn't get into the older games. Might give them another try.Just finished Witcher 2, so finally got 1 and 2 knocked over. Looking forward to tackling this monstrosity (pun intended), might wait for the 'next-gen' upgrade that is due out second half of this year though.
